So just how good could a washer dryer combo
For starters the washer is powered by a heavy duty two speed .75 horsepower electric motor. Noise is always a concern in an apartment or duplex and the Frigidaire comes with their Sound Silencer Quiet Package which turns the washer into a whisperer. No worries about the next door neighbor pounding on the wall.
Inside the washer is a high capacity Titan Polypropylene wash tub that will give years of service without fear of rust. The self cleaning lint filter will insure your clothes come out of the washer without carrying that crazy white stuff to the drier.
A bleach dispenser and softener dispenser make adding the correct amount of each at just the right time a snap. Now for the actual washing. The unit comes with a total of 8 wash cycles and three water level settings and 2 agitate/spin speed settings. The sure spin suspension system for the tub makes for minimal vibration during spin cycles. All in all this is a really decent washer.
The dryer is located above the washer and has a 5.7 cubic foot capacity in the drum. It has two temperature settings and timed drying capability up to 100 minutes. Operation is as simple as selecting the setting, time and pushing the start button.
The only down side to this product is that it is one unit. That means that in the unlikely event one of the components fails all together, then you are replacing both a washer and dryer when only one has gone bad. That’s an excellent reason to purchase an extended warranty on these types of combos.
